University Receives $50M Research Grant

State University has been awarded a $50 million grant from the National Science Foundation to establish a new Center for Climate Research. The center will bring together scientists from multiple disciplines to study climate change impacts and develop innovative solutions.

"This grant represents a tremendous opportunity to make a real difference in addressing one of the most pressing challenges of our time," said University President Dr. James Williams.

The center is expected to create 100 new research positions and provide funding for 50 graduate fellowships over the next five years.
