State University has been ranked among the top 50 public universities in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. This marks the fifth consecutive year the university has appeared in the top 50.
"This ranking reflects our commitment to academic excellence and the hard work of our faculty, staff, and students," said University President Dr. James Williams.
The ranking considers factors including graduation rates, faculty resources, expert opinion, financial resources, and alumni giving.
